Musa (another name for a Banana tree)
I need to see new landscapes. It’s urgent.
Become part of the picture, as I fit into the other shade of dark, wet green.
An anxious whim to see a different bird every day.
To witness the drop of dew sliding down the huge leaf of a banana tree. And there, I want that banana tree to shield me from boredom.
There is a place where I will gather wild clay from the earth and respectfully observe venomous snakes—scared and excited—as I spoil my hiking shoes with adventure.
The countdown has started.
